Hydroxy Terminated PDMS is made of siloxane monomer polymerization, and both ends of the molecular have hydroxyl organosilicon material. Chemical name is a hydroxyl terminated polydimethylsiloxane. Customarily, hydroxy silicone oil with viscosity over 2500mPa.S is called 107 silicone rubbers.
Its structural formula is: HO[-Si（CH3）2O[Si（CH3）2O]nSi（CH3）2-OH. In addition to the general properties of methyl silicone oil, the product also has a hydroxyl reactivity. It can be used to make some new materials, or cross-linked into elastomers (or film). This product is colorless and transparent liquid, with excellent electrical insulation and resistance high and low temperature. Due to high flash point and low freezing point, it can be used in the below 50℃~+250℃ for a long time. It features a low viscosity-temperature coefficient, high compressibility, low surface tension, good hydrophobic and moisture resistance, chemical inertia and physiological inertia.
